Libya and Qatar have signed an updated air services agreement aimed at modernizing aviation cooperation between the two nations.
Libyan Transport Minister Mohamed Al-Shahoubi and his Qatari counterpart Mohammed Al Thani finalized the agreement, first signed in April 2004, to introduce more flexible provisions in line with the latest developments in civil aviation.
The deal is expected to enhance bilateral cooperation and facilitate air transport. Discussions also covered strengthening partnerships in the transport sector and aviation-related collaboration.
The signing ceremony in Doha was attended by senior civil aviation officials from both sides, including Libya’s Civil Aviation Authority Chief Mohamed Shleibek and Qatar’s aviation regulator Mohammed Al-Hajri.
