Libyan authorities held talks with Sudan’s deputy ambassador in Tripoli on Wednesday to address the status of the Sudanese community in Libya and ease the challenges they face.
The meeting, led by the head of Libya’s Passport, Nationality, and Foreigners Affairs Authority, focused on mechanisms to regularize the legal status of Sudanese nationals while ensuring their rights and safety under Libyan law.
Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and streamline procedures to better support Sudanese residents in the country.
