The Deputy Minister of Justice/ Head of the committee for overseeing the welfare of Libyan prisoners abroad, Ali Eshtewi, held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart on Monday to discuss the conditions and issues faced by Libyan prisoners detained in Turkey.
Both parties agreed to work toward preparing a protocol project that will outline a mechanism for prisoner exchange as soon as possible.
Additionally, the delegation from the Ministry of Justice, accompanied by the Libyan Ambassador to Turkey, Mustafa Al-Golib, paid a visit to some Libyan prisoners currently held in Turkey.
