The British Embassy has announced that bilateral trade increased by 10.7% over last year to 1.7 billion pounds, according to its X platform page.
This came during the participation of the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, in the conference organized by the Libyan-British Business Council in Tripoli, headed by the former Ambassador to Libya, and in the presence of a number of businessmen, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.
“UK embassy was pleased to bring together British and Libyan businesses, as part of the visit of the Libyan-British Business Council delegation to Tripoli this week, which helped opening doors for more trade and investment between the two countries”, the embassy said.
