The Libyan-American Friendship Association has welcomed the signing of a number of agreements between Libya and the United States of America.
In a statement, the Association expressed its satisfaction at Libya's partnership in the fight against terrorism across the Sahara.
"This partnership will contribute to the protection of borders and security in all the territory of Libya", the Association explained, adding that these treaties will contribute to building stronger relations and will give greater leeway to connections, exchange visits and consultations between the two countries.
The Association also expressed its pride that the signing of cooperation agreements between Libya and the United States of America is grounded on strong and continuous foundations and on mutual respect, mutual benefits and interests.
