The Consul-General of the Libyan embassy to Tunisia, Fadel Al-Qario, along with the Director-General of Tunisian Customs, Youssef Al-Zawahi, discussed easing the transit procedures for citizens travelling by land, air, and sea, between Libya and Tunisia and increasing the financial allowance permitted for Libyan citizens entering Tunisia.

According to the Libyan embassy in Tunisia, the meeting also touched on the procedures for Libyan vehicles entering the country, whose period of stay on Tunisian soil was restricted to a three-month period, and the willingness of Tunisia to ease these restrictions.

The embassy stated that the Tunisian authorities have also cancelled certain procedures relating to the customs declaration imposed on Libyan cars coming from European countries, which is hoped will enable Libyan citizens to travel without delay.
