The Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in the Netherlands participated in a meeting held on Friday organized by the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) with the heads and delegates of Arab missions.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance support and technical assistance to countries that have experienced armed conflicts and natural disasters to identify missing persons, most notably the state of Libya, in preparation for the international conference that will be held at the expert level in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, during the current year.

The ICMP arranged a tour for the Arab officials to view the DNA analysis laboratory with the aim of giving an overview of the techniques for identifying missing persons.
