The Libyan Fatwa House has announced that Eid al-Fitr zakat in monetary value of this year is eight dinars per person.
The Fatwa House added in a statement that Zakat al-Fitr is given to the poor people of the country and its amount is (2¼) kilograms of wheat and (2) kilograms of rice per person, confirming that it is permissible to take it out two or three days before Eid.
