The Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, has participated in the meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group 2023, currently held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Mabrouk held several bilateral meetings with the Director General of the Islamic Solidarity Fund and a team of specialists in the Fund, the Director General of the Regional Center of the Islamic Development Bank in the Arab Maghreb countries and the Director General of the Economic Empowerment Department at the bank.
During these meetings, a number of topics and issues were discussed, the most important of which was the establishment of an investment endowment project in Libya in partnership with the Islamic Solidarity Fund, and the establishment of an economic empowerment fund, concerned with supporting small and medium enterprises in Libya in partnership with IDB.
