On the sidelines of the Islamic Development Bank conference in Riyadh, the two sides discussed the current situation in Sudan and ways of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries in the fields of investment and trade, in addition to supporting the private and public sectors in the two countries.

Al-Mabrouk affirmed Libya’s support for the resumption of the Islamic Development Bank Group to finance vital projects in Sudan.

The Sudanese minister said that this meeting represents the beginning of strengthening economic cooperation between Sudan and Libya, and achieving common goals and interests that benefit the peoples of the two countries.
