Minister of State for Women’s Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Houria Al-Tarmal, has emphasized the importance of strengthening women’s roles in major companies and economic institutions.
Al-Tarmal highlighted the need to expand their presence in strategic sectors, including both oil and non-oil industries, technology, and strategic planning.
This came as Al-Tarmal, along with Minister of Economy Mohamed Al-Huwaij, participated in the opening of the Women's Economic Empowerment Global Summit in Sharjah, UAE. The event brings together economic leaders, decision-makers, experts, and entrepreneurs from 15 countries.
The summit discusses ways to enhance women’s role in entrepreneurship, support startups, and open new opportunities for their active participation in the economy.
