The Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohammed Oun, has expressed his aspiration for the participation of Russian companies in the exploration projects of the oil and gas sectors due to their experience, hailing Moscow's role at the "OPEC +" in maintaining the balance of the global oil market, according to a statement by Hakomitna platform. 

These remarks came during Oun's meeting with the Russian ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aganin, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Oil and Gas in the capital, Tripoli, on Wednesday.

The statement said that Oun had discussed with ambassador Aganin the activation of the Libyan-Russian ministerial committee after years of suspension, stressing the need to activate the joint committee, meetings, visits, and holding conferences, seminars and workshops to introduce Russian technology in the Libyan oil industry.
