The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah instructed Saturday relevant authorities to form emergency teams to quickly respond to any emergency that could result from the tumultuous weather conditions expected to hit some parts in Libya in the coming days.
Dbeibah's instructions were addressed in an official letter to the Minister of Education, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Directorate Affairs, the Chairman of the National Safety Authority, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Company for Water and Sanitation, Hakomitna media platform said.
The National Center of Meteorology expected rainfall in most areas in north Libya , saying the rain would be normal but also heavy at times in the northeastern regions throughout Saturday, adding that rain would be accompanied by thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday, in the coastal region extending from Benghazi to Emssaed: warning of possible floodings.
