The US Embassy in Libya announced the participation of a Libyan military delegation from all over the country in the African Land Forces Summit (ALFS) held last week in Zambia.
According to the embassy, the event, sponsored by the US Army Chief of Staff, brought together 750 representatives from across Africa and other partner states.
The embassy affirmed Washington's support for Libyan efforts to unify military institutions, improve their effectiveness, and create long-lasting peace and stability.
The summit was hosted by the Southern European Task Force of the US Army in Africa and the Zambian Army.
