Anwar Libya

The General National Maritime Transport Company announced on Friday the rescue of 28 illegal immigrants who were in dire need of assistance.

The Anwar Libya ship found a rubber boat with migrants on board off the coast of Tripoli, where it provided assistance to them as a humanitarian and moral duty, according to the company’s statement on its Facebook page.

The statement added that the immigrants all held Syrian nationality, including women and children, and the ship’s crew provided them with medical assistance, then headed them to the Tripoli port station to hand them over to the competent authorities.
