Libya's Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) production hit an all-time high in October, according to data published by the Iron & Steel company, with production reaching 70,000 tons.
In the preceding year, the company produced 476,200 tons of HBI, which was 95.2% of its production target, showing a 62.5% increase from the previous year.
It may be worth noting that the company entered into agreements with a number of foreign companies earlier this year to export 72,000 tons of rebar.
