The Minister of Finance, Khaled Al-Mabrouk Abdullah, discussed on Monday with his Maltese counterpart, Clyde Caruana, issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all financial affairs and information exchange.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the Maltese Prime Minister’s visit to Libya, accompanied by the Ministers of Finance and Labour and a number of ministers.

The two sides also discussed cooperation in the customs field, in addition to the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing, reviewing updating joint agreement to avoid double taxation between the two countries.
