The Benghazi Court of Appeal ruled the detention of the mayor of Salouq municipality on charges of embezzlement of public funds and abuse of power.
The Public Prosecutor's Office said that the accused seized an amount of 929,767 dinars, and authorized the assignment of projects to be managed by some of his relatives.
