A team from the Corneal Transplantation Authority arrived in the city of Benghazi to perform 40 corneal transplant operations in the cities of Benghazi, Derna, and Tobruk for a whole week, according to Hakomitna platform.
The medical delegation, headed by Director of the Eye Hospital Rania Al-Khoja, accompanied by visiting doctor Mohammed Anis, aims to carry out examinations and surgeries for cases suffering from corneal diseases in the eastern region, after the delegation completed its visit to the cities of Al-Khums, Misrata, Sorman and Tripoli during the last period.
