The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has discussed with representatives of the city of Misrata the file of the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Member of the High Council of State and coordinator of the meeting, Abu Al-Qasim Qazit, said in a statement that they discussed how to deal with the current political impasse and reach simultaneous parliamentary and presidential elections.
Qazit pointed out that the meeting touched on the state of difficulty facing the UN mission in bringing the parties together at a five-party table, and how to advance Libyan political solutions after the failure of the UN initiative.
