The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, discussed Sunday with warlord Khalifa Haftar in his office in the city of Benghazi, creating appropriate conditions for holding parliamentary and presidential elections and assessing ways to confront national security challenges across borders, according to the PC media office.
The meeting came before the convening of the third meeting of the Financial Committee on organizing and following up public spending and enhancing transparency, which will be held on Monday in the city of Benghazi after two meetings in Sirte and Tripoli.
No statement was issued by Haftar's media office in Al-Rajma in this regard.
