Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Janah has met with Italian Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, on the sidelines of the visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and a number of her government ministers to Tripoli.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed activating the agreements previously concluded between the two countries to improve health conditions within the country.
The two parties also discussed opportunities to expand the horizons of future cooperation between Libya and Italy in the fields of training medical personnel, exchanging experiences and transferring medical technology.
The meeting touched on activating the twinning agreements previously signed between medical centers in Libya and specialized medical centers in Italy regarding training, exchanging experiences and knowledge, and transferring technology, while programming mutual visits for doctors from the two countries.
