Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jinnah on Saturday held a meeting to review the emergency needs of dialysis centres.
The meeting which grouped officials from the Health Ministry and the Medical Supply Department discussed mutual procedures with the pharmacy and the medical equipment departments to establish supply chains of kidney medications and operators.
This comes, days after the Organ Donation Organization warned of a shortage in medications for kidney disease patients.
