Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abid convened with the Chairman of the Human Resources Development Fund's (HRDF) board of directors, Fayez Bin Omran, at the ministry's HQ in Tripoli on Thursday.
The meeting discussed the Fund's plan and the implementation of training programs to develop and rehabilitate job seekers in line with the Fund's strategy.
Minister Al-Abid also met with Mohamed Al-Raeid, the Chairman of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, on Wednesday to explore strategies for enhancing the labour market.
The meeting focused on structuring the labour market, employment prospects for the youth through an analysis of local market demands, streamlining procedures, overcoming obstacles to activating chamber work, and potential bolstering and advancement of local industries to foster economic diversification.
