The Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani, has announced the inclusion of displaced people in the National Strategy for Social Protection project, which the Ministry is working on in cooperation with the Economic and Social Development Council and other relevant authorities.
During the meeting of the High Committee for Displaced Affairs, Al-Kilani presented an overview of the ministry’s steps in the file of displaced people, and its work to rally efforts for the interest of the targeted groups, reparation and national reconciliation to achieve social stability and peace.
The minister also called for holding meetings with the displaced people that would contribute to converging viewpoints and coming up with common principles to build on, for the promotion of social stability and peace.
