Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Khamada, has expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the head of the European Union Support Mission in Integrated Border Management (EUBAM) to Libya.

In his speech at the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli on the occasion of the end of Cea’s mission in Libya, Khamada pointed out that the mission cooperated with the authorities in Libya to provide technical and logistical support within the framework of combating illegal immigration and cross-border organized crime.

The ceremony was attended by a number of ambassadors and charge d'affaires of European Union countries accredited to the State of Libya, a number of officials from the Ministries of Interior and Defense, and representatives of the security agencies and agencies concerned with border security and management in Libya.
