Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Janah, and Chief of the Cabinet Office in the Southern Region, Ahmed Al-Ayyat, have hounoured the medical team of the Eye Hospital in Tripoli after completing their mission in the southern region.
The Ministry of Health said the honouring came in appreciation of the efforts made by the medical convoy, led by the Director of the hospital, Rania Al-Khawja, in the regions and cities of the south, including Sabha, Barak Al-Shati, Ubari, and Bint Baya.
During two weeks of work in the south, the medical team conducted more than 4,000 checkups and over 750 surgeries.
The convoy comes within the framework of the government's strategy to localize treatment, the Health Ministry stated.
