Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Omran Al-Qayeb, has discussed with the Director of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Haider Al-Sayeh, the steps for accrediting the Center as a leading educational and training institution by the Ministry.
During a meeting held on Tuesday, the two sides agreed to establish a postgraduate school concerned with public health specializations, to qualify a new generation of professionals and experts capable of facing the increasing health challenges.
This comes within the framework of the NCDC keenness to enhance its role as a distinguished educational hub, and enhance its role in training and qualifying national cadres to support the Libyan health system.
