The Ministry of Industry and Minerals of the Government of National Unity hosted the fourth meeting of the Arab Industrial Development Advisory Committee, with the participation of the Director-General of the Arab Industrial Development Organization, Adel Al-Saqr, and representatives from the Arab countries that are members of the committee.
The meeting discussed the draft of the Arab Industrial Integration Strategy, which aims to enhance cooperation between Arab countries in industrial and investment fields, develop value-added chains, and achieve mutual reliance between various Arab industries.
The members agreed on the importance of removing trade barriers, improving the industrial business environment, and strengthening the role of the private sector in joint industrial projects.
The meeting also reviewed the experiences of some member countries in developing industrial and technological zones and their role in supporting economic growth and creating job opportunities.
