The Misrata Free Zone has announced the imminent resumption of work of the grain silos in the free zone after they had stopped since 2017 for technical reasons.
The grain silos were under maintenance work since May 2023, which is the first of its kind since its construction in the mid-1970s.
The silos contain 12 main cells, each 12 meters in diameter and 45 meters high, with a total capacity of 40,000 tons.
