The Misrata Medical Centre has opened the new expansion of the Emergency and Accidents Department after undergoing maintenance and development work, Centre spokesman Mohamed Niehom announced on Saturday.
The expansion includes ten beds for emergency cases and the Minor Surgery Department.
Nihoum stated in remarks to the media that the emergency intervention and observation rooms have been equipped with the latest artificial respiratory devices, medical equipment, and doctor's examination rooms.
The new educational building for the Intermediate Nursing Institute was also inaugurated during the opening ceremony. After a ten-year hiatus, students will now be able to receive education and training within the Centre, which consists of two floors containing classrooms, laboratories, and fully equipped teaching rooms.
