The National Oil Corporation (NOC) Chairman, Farhat Bengdara, convened with the US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland and Chargé d'Affaires Jeremy Berndt to discuss the stability of oil and gas production and sufficient investment.
According to the US Embassy in Libya, Norland also discussed with Bengdara steps to end fuel smuggling and the opportunities available in the energy sector.
The US official expressed his support for the NOC's efforts to reduce gas flaring and methane emissions and better use of Libya's resources.
