Member of Tawergha local council Abdelnabi Bu Araba said Friday that the reconciliation agreement between them and Misrata that was endorsed by the Presidential Council last June has not been implemented because there has not been sufficient funding for the agreement’s articles by the government.

Bu Araba added that there should have been financial assistance to those who were harmed by the displacement from Tawergha, besides for the rebuilding of the city.

He also indicated that next week, there will be a meeting between IDPs affairs minister, local governing minister and local council of Tawergha, municipal council of Misrata and the dialogue committees of the two sides, in addition to a PC representative in order to ink the mechanism by which the agreement shall be executed.
