The family of the old woman, Barniyah Al-Thabet" who went missing in Saudi Arabia where she arrived for Hajj, appealed to Libyan and Saudi authorities to double their efforts to find her.
The family told Libya Al-Ahrar TV that the woman went missing nine days ago with her son, adding that she was fine in terms of health but suffered from Alzheimer's disease.
They confirmed that the missing woman had no trace in all health and police institutions in Saudi Arabia, calling on the Hajj mission and the Prime Minister of Libya to continue communicating with the Saudi authorities to find her as soon as possible.
Barniyah, who comes from Al-Ajilat, left Libya for Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj on the 13 June, before going missing upon her arrival.
