The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, met on Wednesday with the Central Nationality Committee.
PM Dbeibah stressed the need to preserve national security, and to coordinate with the Office of the Attorney General, the Internal Security Agency and the General Intelligence Agency regarding the granting of Libyan citizenship, provided that the work of the committee is not impeded.
He also pointed out the need to activate this important file, which has been suspended since 2011, especially the humanitarian cases of children of Libyan women and wives of Libyan citizens, and cases that meet the conditions stipulated in the law regulating this.
