The Undersecretary of Libya's Interior Ministry, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, has arrived in Brussels as the head of a security delegation.

According to the minister, Saeed met with the EU Foreign Policy chief and head of the bloc's  Middle East and North Africa affairs department.

The parties discussed the importance of security cooperation and coordination between Libya and European Union countries, especially regarding advanced security checkpoints, training courses, and developed security equipment.

The Libyan delegation comprised Major General Ali Al-Nuwaisri, Director of the General Administration of Security Operations; Major General Muhammad Fathallah, Director of the General Administration of Central Support; and Colonel Youssef Abu Zariq, Commander of the Security Gates.
