The spokesman for the Libyan Hajj mission Abdul Qader Al-Masri confirmed the death of 15 people among Libyan pilgrims, in addition to 10 others with health concerns who are currently being treated in Saudi hospitals.

Al-Masri explained in a press statement on Sunday that the pilgrimage mission will begin transferring pilgrims from Mecca to Medina on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, noting that priority will be given to older people and those with health concerns.

He further noted that the return flights will commence from the beginning of September and will continue to the 17th of the same month.
