Tabu elder, Adam Dazi said that the tribe had opened new channels of negotiations with the so-called Dignity Operation leadership, in order to reach a peaceful solution without armed confrontations.

Dazi explained in a press statement Wednesday their refusal of the entry of any troops who have among them members from other rival tribes, according to him.

Earlier, Murzuk MP, Rahma Abu Bakr said that Tabu community has the right to demand self-determination in the event of the continuation of what she described the ethnic war in the south.
