The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, has commended Qatar for its mediation efforts in fostering consensus among Libyan parties and facilitating the forthcoming elections in Libya.
Takala expressed his gratitude during a meeting in Doha with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration across various sectors to mutually benefit both nations.
The parties also reviewed regional issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, aiming to coordinate efforts on the international stage to support the Palestinian people and achieve stability and peace in the entire region.
