The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, has discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, the strengthening of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, in addition to a number of local and regional political and economic files.

This came in a meeting held in the capital, Tripoli, during which Takala expressed the HCS’s appreciation for the important role played by the Turkish state in supporting stability in Libya, contributing to reconstruction projects, and supporting international efforts to end the transitional stages, leading to the implementation of fair national elections.

For his part, the Turkish Minister stressed the long-standing bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries, noting that his visit aims to support the Libyan democratic path, comprehensive national reconciliation to achieve stability in the country and the entire region.
