The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, has received Turkish Ambassador Kenan Yilmaz on the occasion of the end of his term and the appointment of the new ambassador, Guven Begec.
The Turkish ambassador expressed his gratitude for the hospitality he received throughout his work in Libya, praising the extent of constructive cooperation between Libya and Turkey and the development of joint relations between the two countries.
The HCS affirmed its appreciation for the great role played by Turkey in supporting stability efforts in Libya, wishing Yilmaz success in his new duties.
Turkish Ambassador Kenan Yilmaz spent three years representing his country in Libya since April 10, 2021.
