Tripoli is hosting on May 11 the international workshop under the slogan “The phenomenon of terrorism and organized crime in the North African region - treatment and collective confrontation strategy”, with the participation of officials, specialists and experts from 26 countries.

During the workshop, which will be held under the chairmanship of the head of the Libyan Intelligence Service, Hussein Al-Aaeb, many research and working papers related to the workshop’s themes will be discussed, including mechanisms for developing joint strategies to confront terrorism and organized crime, according to the Libyan News Agency.

According to the same source, this workshop is being organized and sponsored by the Libyan Intelligence Service in cooperation with the African Security and Intelligence Services Committee (SESSA).
