Officials from the Libyan Foreign Ministry discussed with diplomats from the Japanese embassy in Tripoli and members of the Japanese Energy Corporation the return of Japanese companies operating in the field of oil and gas to Libya.
The meeting reviewed the available opportunities in the Libyan market through search and exploration operations, and the business climate as well as investment opportunities in oil and gas in the country.
The Libyan side called for the need for the return of Japanese companies that are interested in development plans being under consideration by the National Oil Corporation, in addition to training Libyan cadres working in the oil and gas sector.
