Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, said Saturday that his country seeks to exempt Libyans of a certain age from entry visas to Turkey and facilitates it for other age groups.

Cavusoglu added during his meeting with Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, that these steps will be adopted temporarily until the return of mutual exemption between the two countries, according to the Information Office of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Turkish government has recently promised to partially lift visa restrictions on Libyans after they were imposed in 2015.
