Minister of Tourism Nasr Al-Din Al-Fazani called on Sunday to benefit from the Turkish experience in sustainable development, particularly in rural areas, reviving rural tourism activities. 

He also urged Turkey to contribute to maintaining Libyan buildings constructed during the Ottoman period and repurpose them as tourist attractions.

During his meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, Al-Fazani highlighted Libya's diverse range of tourism opportunities, covering various styles and offering promising investment opportunities throughout the year.

According to the ministry, the meeting also discussed activating agreements in tourism and traditional industries and explored investment opportunities in marketing, training, rehabilitation, and traditional industries.

Ambassador Yilmaz expressed his readiness to liaise with Turkish government institutions and the private sector to develop programs that support tourism in Libya and encourage investors to participate in development projects, as stated by the ministry.
