The UAE Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) unit arrived in Libya on Friday to help identify the bodies of flood victims in Derna using DNA.
DVI unit is the first unit of its kind to arrive in Derna as part of the UAE’s efforts to help Libyan people following the disaster, which claimed the lives of thousands and left great devastation, according to the UAE government.
