NATO announced that its Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg will meet next Monday with the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame at NATO HQ in the Belgian capital Brussels.
NATO spokeswoman, Oana Lungescu confirmed in a statement Friday that Salame will attend a closed meeting of NATO.
Media sources said that the UN envoy to Libya is planning a European tour in the coming days, in order to mobilize support for stopping the fighting in Tripoli and resume political dialogue.
