The Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Abdoulaye Bathily, discussed on Saturday with Khalifa Haftar the presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya and the creation of appropriate conditions for holding the vote.
This came during their meeting in Benghazi for the second time in two weeks, according to a statement issued by Haftar's media office, which said the two sides had stressed "the necessity of holding Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections and creating appropriate conditions for the vote, in addition to reviewing the latest political developments."
