The Minister of State for Women's Affairs, Houria Al-Tarmal, has discussed with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) representative in Libya, Michele Servadi, cooperation and partnership in the field of supporting youth’s capabilities in southern Libya, according to Hakomitna platform.
The two parties also reviewed the work of Bayti centers concerned in providing much needed child protection and education services to the vulnerable children, and areas of coordination to open new branches in a number of municipalities in the south.
Al-Tarmal stressed the need to empowering women and girls in Libya, and developing their abilities and capabilities in an appropriate environment.
