The University of Tripoli has announced the continuation of the suspension of studies and administrative work at the university until coordination on the university's security file is completed.
"The Presidency of the University of Tripoli informs you to suspend studies, exams and administrative work until completion of coordination with the Ministry of Interior regarding the university's security file," a statement published by the university said.
The university stated in its statement that this coordination "comes in light of its efforts to provide a safe educational environment for the university's employees, and to preserve the sanctity of the university as a purely scientific and centre of learning, and it is far from any political and military polarizations," according to the statement.
